Construction of 226 high density houses near Queenstown airport is moving ahead at full speed in spite of uncertainty over the validity of resource consent approvals issued during the current sewage crisis.
Property developer Kurt Gibbons has moved to Queenstown after selling his $45 million Auckland mansion. He is the man behind a number of major Queenstown projects including the very high density Five Mile Villas.
Kurt Gibbons sold his Auckland mansion for what’s believed to be a national record price of $45 million - and now lives in Queenstown.
Many of the small two storey houses are only 67 square metres in floor area and are priced from $869,000 in spite of being initially presented as “affordable homes.”
