If your accusation that the CEO knew (let alone had any part in granting) a 4 year extension had been granted for this pivotal and contentious project and that this has not been formally communicated to the full council then this is in my mind an event of such gravity it requires his censure and probably resignation. How on earth can any councillor have any faith in a person who treats them so consistently with nothing but utter contempt?

The elephant in the room is why Mayor Lewers continues resist any change to this total delegation of control to the CEO for this major project. Highly unusual and undemocratic. Why?

It just stinks to heaven what’s going down and is accepted. It’s terribly depressing! I have to stop reading !!!

But I have written to the ombudsman offices last year, and several times this year … finally got a case number but the deviousness seems unstoppable in this beautiful country. Shit show, a very sad shit show and the water quality is going downhill in 2025!! Still what a shame, but I’m lucky not to be in Ukraine nor Gaza
