It is getting harder to support former Mayor Boults agenda isn't it Mayor Lewers. You could find a spine and take back delegation as good governance requires. Wee Barry Bruce and Lyall Cocks, along with the other patsys will follow you anywhere. Stand up and do your job. Govern.
It’s absurd that an elected councillor’s questions about a major council project are being treated under the LOGIMA regime!
The other real worry is the total delegation to QLDC’s CEO of all financial control & decision making in relation to the Lakeview project. It is really bad governance. What are the Mayor and councillors going to do about this issue? They have the power to remove delegations they gave.
Brilliant news! Hopefully, if the contract was written up properly, when NFF QT Development PtY Ltd default in their obligations (either due to OIO withdrawing approval or for commercial reasons), all bets are off and QLDC will be in a position to correct past idiocy and sell the land at a good market rate, recouping past losses.

Crux, thanks again
Has the time come for the CEO and Mayor to fall on their swords and for the Minister to appoint an experienced commissioner to sort this mess out??
The QLDC is clearly not equipped to sort out the mess they created. Since they created the mess they cannot be involved in sorting it out.
